This course examines the vital role of water supply and sanitation in the development of societies across history and cultures. Students will explore how water systems have shaped urbanisation, public health, and community wellbeing from the past to the present. Through interdisciplinary perspectives, the course highlights key trends and challenges in sustainable water management. Participants will also reflect on their own water use and learn to apply multi-method approaches to analysing water-related issues.
