This course explores the relationship between business and the natural environment, providing both theoretical foundations and critical perspectives. Students will learn about environmental management systems, sustainable supply chains, innovation, and reporting practices that shape corporate environmental responsibility. The course emphasizes the ability to critically analyze developments in the field and to connect academic research with practical business challenges. Upon completion, students are equipped to evaluate and design responsible business strategies that support environmental sustainability. The course is offered twice, in fall 2025 (1 September–19 October) and in spring 2026 (12 January–1 February), both as online studies.
